STOPROTEC Transparent Coating System onto SplitFace Block
The STOPROTEC Coating System onto SplitFace block works in exactly the same way as it does on normal honed masonry, except that it requires additional applications of Protectosil WS405 and STOPROTEC clear coating due to its rough and uneven surface. This will be reflected in the cost of building with this type of block.
Extra care will be needed to keep this block clean before sealing. Because of its uneven texture it can trap cement slurry in its pores and broken surfaces, making cleaning difficult.
Application of the STOPROTEC onto this type of block will need to be done by an experienced applicator.

STOPROTEC matt finish clear coat is applied by airless spray unit onto the splitface block.
